3rd forum of lithuanian professionals in germany
The traditional forum of Lithuanian professionals in Germany will take place at the Lithuanian Embassy in Berlin on June 3, 2023. The forum aims to bring together professionals of Lithuanian descent, strengthen their networking, discuss relevant business and innovation topics, and strengthen ties with Lithuania.

“Kanklės in New York”. Book release and a concert in Berlin
New York based composer, vocalist and kanklės player Simona Smirnova is coming to Berlin to present her latest work: sheet music book & album of her original compositions for the Lithuanian national instrument called kanklės.

LEO in Berlin REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDED OLSO SUMMIT
80+ Lithuanian professionals from 14 pro Clubs abroad met at Oslo Summit to share experiences, and know-how, discuss common topics, and network. “LEO in Berlin” was represented by our Board Member Simonas Kukšas and club founder Rūta Donovan. Read more in Lithuanian.

LEO IN BERLIN MEMBERS met PRIME MINISTER Ingrida Šimonyte
Lithuania’s Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė was visiting Berlin where she, together with other Prime Ministers of Baltic states, received and award by the Friedrich August von Hayek Foundation. During the visit Ms. Šimonytė had a meeting with Lithunian diaspora that was hosted by the Ambassador Ramūnas Misiulis. Read more in Lithuanian.

2nd Forum of Lithuanian Professionals in Germany
LEO in Berlin together with Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Germany we are holding yet another annual Forum of Lithuanian Professionals in Germany on April 29. The Forum will focus on sustainable development, with panel discussions on green energy, green cities, and food waste. Lithuanian professionals who made a mark in strengthening the economic relationship between Germany and Lithuania will also be awarded. Read more in Lithuanian.

Freedomway in Berlin
The Lithuanian Professional Club in Berlin (LEO in Berlin) members Inga Rovbutas and Rūta Naujokaitė together with the Belarusians living in Berlin organized a big solidarity protest to support free elections in Belarus. On the 23 rd of August 2020 thousands of people from Lithuania, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Japan, Germany and other forks joined hands in Berlin: Belarus-Baltic Freedom Way to support the Belarusian people’s struggle for freedom. read more

Date with Parisians and Berliners
Digital meeting with the Lithuanian in Paris. Due to Covid-19 many live events had to be canceled. At the same time, it opened many opportunities to meet online. First interactive meeting with other similar club took place at 6th April and was a successful funny and intellectual evening spent.

Lithuanian Professionals Forum in Germany 2020
Lithuanian Expats Organization in Berlin (LEO in Berlin) and Global Lithuanian Leaders invited Lithuanians living and working in Germany to the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Berlin to attend a very first forum for Lithuanian Professionals in Germany. 40 participants from 8 cities across Germany gathered to get to know each other, share ideas and discuss different topics. read more

Entrepreneuers Night in Berlin
Practica Capital together with LEO in Berlin and Global Lithuanian Leaders gathered entrepreneurs of Lithuanian diaspora in Berlin, for a wonderful night of interesting conversations and networking. Many great minds joined in, including some founders of top Lithuanian startups, such as Trafi, TransferGo, oxipit, Oberlo, the first Lithuanian unicorn Vinted / Kleiderkreisel and others.

LEO in Berlin Gathering
LEO was hosted by a fresh unicorn from Lithuania – Vinted (Kleiderkreisel). One of the most successful start-ups in the Baltic countries, Vinted is a P2P mobile social marketplace for pre-loved
clothing. Company aims to change the shopping habits all over the world, making second hand the first choice. LEO in Berlin gathering hosted by Vinted featured 2 knowledge-sharing sessions and networking with food & drinks. see pictures
